cornucopias or May Day baskets, for my kids to give to their teachers for
Valentine's Day. You can tuck a little wrapped gift inside or put the gift
inside wrapped with tissue paper or for a very special presentation you could
wrap the gift in a vintage hankie. Another option is to use shredded paper and
fill the cone with candy and treats. A sweet tag to add to a package.
Recipe:
Cut tag from Acetate. Apply blue alcohol inks (stream & stonewashed)
with alcohol blender. Drip 3 drips of alcohol ink and a few drops of blending
solution on felt applicator. Dab over surface. Add snowcap mixative to the
background. Follow same process. Repeat until desired background is achieved.

Now let's talk about presentation.
Start with ordinary kraft wrap-- you know, the kind used for mailing
packages-- and transform it into gift wrap with the help of Memory Box stamps,
embellishments and tags.
These
small gift boxes were wrapped in both kraft packaging paper and plain 'ol white
copy paper right out of the printer tray. To start things off, I
stamped the Newspaper Eiffel Tower (CG417) with white StazOn on
an acetate card. Then I white embossed the Newspaper Flower
(CG412) and did some finger painting with my favorite Distress inks (Broken
China and Vintage Photo). I layered Latte and Pool papers on the inside of the
acetate card.
I just LOVE.LOVE.LOVE

Now here is my card.
This card was made with going through the mail in mind. It can be sent in a
standard size envie, relatively flat, and it's light. And, I wanted to send
something that a non-stamper would "get". Here I've used "Noel" and the wreath,
